NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS
 
THE JACQUES CARTIER AND CHAMPLAIN BRIDGES INCORPORATED, a body corporate having its Head Office in Longueil, Province of Québec, Canada, established by the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority Act and herein acting and exercising its powers as an agent of Her Majesty in right of Canada (hereafter referred to as "Owner").
 
The Tender Documents (Sections 0 to 7) for project 90005 are available directly from Private Tenders “Merx” at the following address, http//www.merx.com/pjcci.
 
Please complete the “Technical Proposal” (Section 4) and “Financial Proposal” (Section 5) according to the “Instructions to Consultants” (Section 2).
 
Please returned five (5) copies of your Technical Proposal and three (3) copies of your Financial Proposal in two envelopes on which the returns labels supplied by the Owner will be affixed and which are with respect to
 
Jacques Cartier Bridge, Sections 2 to 9, Consultancy Services for the Seismic Performance Evaluation Study and Preliminary Design Study of Seismic Retrofit (2016-2018)
 
will be received until 3:00 p.m., November 25th 2016 for the said work, at the Owner’s premises at the following address which will be the one and only return address for tenders.

Bidders can visit the site by themselves. However, bidders visiting the places themselves are only allowed to visit the places normally accessible to the public. Two (2) site visits with representative of the Owner will be organized. Visits will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 and Friday, November 18, 2016 to 10: 00. The meeting point will be the parking lot behind the Jacques Cartier Bridge Maintenance Centre on the Longueuil side (former toll booth). Bidders will attend only one of the visits. A limit of two (2) representatives per Bidder will be accepted. The Bidder shall confirm his presence at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance by contacting the Owner as provided in Article 2.01.6 Communications.
 
No tender received after the said date and time will be accepted by the Owner.  The time and date of receipt will be considered to be the date and time affixed by the Owner on the tender envelope.
 
The Owner does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
