Description of Procurement
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation to Prospective Proponents to submit a proposal for General Contracting services related to the demolition and renovation of the 10th floor at 1 Dundas St W.

Refer to drawings and specifications attached for full scope of work.

Construction Delivery
The anticipated construction delivery type and anticipated construction contract between Ryerson and the General Contractor are:

Delivery type: Stipulated Sum
Construction Contract: CCDC 2- 2008 Stipulated Price Contract and Ryerson’s Supplementary Conditions.

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

Mandatory Submission Requirements
File #1 - Proposal Acknowledgement Form

Each Proponent shall complete, sign and submit a Proposal Acknowledgement Form. The Proposal Acknowledgement Form forms part of the Proposal.

Scored Submission Requirements
File # 2 - Company Information

Provide a company/entity profile including but not limited to: company/entity history, description of services provided (including project work), number of years in business, number of employees, company organizational chart, number of location, list of current customer base, a list of certifications, licenses, affiliations, accreditations, associations that are relevant to the Deliverables.

File # 3 - Experience

Provide a description of company/entity experience and qualifications that are relevant to the Deliverables.

Provide a description of how the Proponent will provide the Deliverables and any specified performance standards/service levels, with reference to past performance of similar work for Ryerson or for third parties in a similar building.

File # 4 - Project Team (including PM and Site Supervisor)

Provide the following:
1. Proposed project management team that will lead, direct, manage and supervise this Project on behalf of Ryerson.
2. Resumes of all proposed project team members. Resumes are to outline the overall responsibility assigned to the individual for this project and provide information on the background and work experience of the proposed individual, including any applicable training, licensing or certification(s).
3. Note: Successful proponent MUST assign to this project the team members submitted in this file. Substitutions will not be allowed unless explicitly approved by Ryerson based on extenuating circumstances.

Contract Details
The term of the Final Agreement is upon successful completion of the Deliverables.

all proposals are requested to attend the mandatory site visit, scheduled for the 14th of March at 11:00 a.m. Proponents should plan to meet on the ground floor lobby of 1 Dundas Street west. Toronto, Ontario. This site visit is mandatory. Submissions from Proponents who do not attend the site visit will not be accepted.
