The university (“Ryerson University carrying on business as Toronto Metropolitan University”) has a requirement for the installation/deployment and full management of a single manufacturer, comprehensive platform to support the new SCITLab facility inclusive of the IT Backbone, full network, security system (cybersecurity + physical), IoT devices, servers/edge compute, collaboration tools, cables/connections, commissioning and associated software services and subscriptions to support the above.
The purpose of this Advanced Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal the university’s intention to award a contract for the above-noted services (both implementation and managed services) to the following pre-selected supplier:

Prior to awarding this contract, the university is providing other potential suppliers with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying the requirements as per this ACAN, by submitting a Statement of Capabilities during the posting period.
If other potential suppliers submit a Statement of Capabilities that meet the university’s requirements as set out in the ACAN, the university may proceed to a competitive procurement process.
If no other supplier submits a Statement of Capabilities on or before the closing date/time, a contract may be awarded to the above-noted pre-selected supplier.
