Description of Procurement

The primary objective of this Request for Proposal is to retain a general contractor services for the building of a storage mezzanine in an existing aerospace lab.

Ryerson intends to execute an agreement in the form of a CCDC 2 - Stipulated Sum with Supplementary Conditions, as provided in Appendix E of the RFP.

The procurement may involve negotiation.

An electronic auction is not anticipated.

Submissions must be submitted electronically at http://ryerson.bonfirehub.ca on or before July 23, 2020, 11:00:00 a.m. Toronto Time.

The submissions will not be opened publicly.

Financial/Pricing Submission Requirements

a)         Provide a completed Price Form as set out in Appendix D – Price Form; and
b)         Fully complete the following in Bonfire:
a.         Requested Data: Pricing Part I - Total Price (excluding taxes) from Table 1,
b.         Requested Data: Pricing Part II – Markup; and
c)         Provide any assumptions made in the Price Form as a separate file uploaded into Bonfire.

This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):

Contract Details

The term of the Final Agreement is the completion of the project, followed by the warranty period. The successful completion of the project is expected to be on or before December 31st, 2020.
