Description of Procurement

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation to prospective Proponents to submit a Proposal indicating their organization’s capacity to provide construction services for the buildout of the 4th and 5th  floors and 104C of Ryerson’s Centre of Urban Innovation (CUI) building  in the following two (2) separate subprojects:

• Subproject A – 4th floor Fit-Out of the Wastewater laboratory. and, 
• Subproject B – 5th floor & 104C - Fit-Out of the Food Processing, Cannabis and Environmental Chemistry laboratories.

1. Mandatory Submission Requirements:

• File #1 - RFP Appendix ‘C’ – Proposal Acknowledgement Form

2. Scored Submission Requirements:

• File # 2 - Company Information;
• File # 3 – Relevant Experience;
• File # 4 - Project Team;
• File # 5 - Project Schedule; and
• File #6 – Social and Sustainable Practices.

3. Financial/Pricing Submission Requirements

• File #7 – Price File
• Total Base Fee (Sum of totals for Subproject A and Subproject B) from Appendix D – Part 1, Table 1.

• Price Form Assumptions (Not evaluated and optional)

• BPS Procurement Directive;
• The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five;
• The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9]; and
• Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
