Description of Procurement

This Request for Quotation (“RFQ”) is an invitation to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals indicating their organization’s capability and resources to supply, deliver, and install waste receptacles to Ryerson as further described in Appendix B – DELIVERABLES.

The procurement may involve negotiation.

An electronic auction is not anticipated.

Address and Final Date for Submissions

Submissions must be submitted electronically at http://ryerson.bonfirehub.ca on or before July 5, 2021, 11:00:00 a.m. Toronto Time.

The submissions will not be opened publicly.

Conditions for Participation

The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:

75 Points - Pricing Part I – Total Price of Waste Receptacle Upgrade for Phase 3;
17 Points - Pricing Part II – Waste Receptacle Price for Future Purchases (Average price for 4-Stream Front Loader Small Receptacle over five (5) years)
7 Points - Pricing Part III – Waste Receptacle Price for Future Purchases Average price for 4-Stream Front Loader Slim Receptacle over five (5) years)
0.5 Points - Pricing Part IV – Waste Receptacle Price for Future Purchases (Average price for 4-Stream Front Loader Small no Backboard Receptacle over five (5) years)
0.5 Points - Pricing Part V – Waste Receptacle Price for Future Purchases (Average price for 3-Stream Compost Bin Receptacle over five (5) years)

Contract Details

Ryerson intends to execute a Master Services Agreement for 1 purchase for Phase 3 of Ryerson’s campus wide waste receptacle upgrade, as well as from time to time, at Ryerson’s request, for future projects over the term of the Agreement.
The term of the Final Agreement is 3 years, plus 2 optional 1 year extensions at the sole discretion of Ryerson.
