This Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is an invitation to prospective Proponents for submissions indicating their organization’s capability, experience and resources to develop and implement a comprehensive asset management plan for Ryerson University (Ryerson).
This invitation for non-binding proposals is extended to include any participating Ontario University Procurement Management Association (OUPMA) members for similar Deliverables.
RFPQ submissions will be reviewed based on a set of evaluation criteria to pre-qualify professional service and consulting firms or a consortium of firms, with the Experience, expertise, and qualified personnel to lead an analysis of the University’s physical infrastructure, and create a roadmap to guide investment decisions that protect asset portfolio quality. This RFPQ is the first step in Ryerson’s process to select a firm. The intent of the pre-qualification process is to select a short-list of up to five (5) Proponents who would be invited to respond to a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP).
The Successful Proponent, upon completion of the RFP process, will enter into negotiations, if applicable, and ultimately enter into an Agreement with Ryerson for the Deliverables as described in the contract and scope of work to be outlined in the subsequent RFP.
OUPMA members will be responsible for entering into their own agreements with the Successful Proponent.
Proponents submit Proposals to the RFP on the understanding that they are extending the same terms and privileges to OUPMA members. Ryerson accepts no liability for the acts of, decisions by, and information about participating with respect to this RFPQ and subsequent RFP. Ryerson accepts no liability to OUPMA and OUPMA members for its management of the RFP process or the resulting Ryerson Agreement (if any).
