Background and Purpose

McMaster University invites qualified suppliers to submit responses for the provision of one (1) Gantry CNC Mill in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal.

Scope/Objective

The Gantry CNC Mill will play a crucial role in expanding McMaster’s ability to support the local aerospace, auto/truck, construction/agriculture, oil/gas, power, mold/die and motor production industries. McMaster is actively involved in tool and machine technology development for difficult to cut materials that require large format machines with complex tool and workpiece engagements to improve tool performance, productivity, cost, final product quality and support product/service innovation.

Term

Minimum of 1-year warranty on effective date of electrical connection.
