Purpose and Background

McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the design, supply and installation of an Audio/Visual solution for the McMaster University Council Chambers in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.

The current audio/visual system in the Council Chambers does not meet the needs of this space. The projector is a roll in type unit. The microphones are not picking up speakers voices clearly. The audio system is at a minimum standard. There is no existing capture/recording capabilities.

Bidders must quote the entire bid. Partial bids will not be accepted.

Term

The term of this agreement is until all deliverables have been completed plus expiration of any warranty.

All Proponents must have obtained the RFP from www.Merx.com (MERX®). Failure to have obtained the RFP from MERX®. will result in disqualification.

Proposals must be submitted through McMaster University’s online Bonfire portal at:

https://mcmaster.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities

Submissions by other methods will not be accepted.
Minimum system requirements are Internet Explorer 8/9/10+, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. Javascript must be enabled.

Proposals must be uploaded and finalized on or before the Submission Deadline set out in the RFP Timetable.
Uploading large documents may take significant time, depending on file size and internet connection speed. It is strongly recommended that proponents allow sufficient time of at least one (1) hour before the Submission Deadline to upload documents and finalize their submissions.
