The purpose of this RFP is to engage an IT Transition and Performance Lead to work with college staff over a minimum three-year period to implement the recommended changes from the IT Service review. The contract may be extended depending on the progress and identification of potential new projects that fall out of the transition process.
The proponent must include all costs and assumptions made in presenting a proposal.
The selected candidate will be an experienced transformation and performance manager with proven success in managing IT organizational transitions, preferably in the public sector and in a unionized, multicultural environment. The candidate will have a broad background in systems development, operations, infrastructure, IT Service Management (ITSM) and change management.
The IT Transformation and Performance Lead selected is expected to be assigned full time to the project unless otherwise negotiated and approved by the AVP, IT. Should the Transition IT Transformation and Performance Lead need to be replaced for any reason, the AVP, IT must authorize the change. If no suitable replacement is available, the contract will be cancelled.
