This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide general contracting services for Window and Wall Replacement Projects as further described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
This RFSQ is an invitation to qualify for the provision of general contracting services under the following two (2) categories. Contractors will be qualified separately for each category.
Windows
To supply, deliver and install new commercial/institutional grade windows to District specification at various existing District facilities and any and all related renovations as made necessary by the proceeding work.
Walls
To carry out major structural repairs to exterior walls at various existing District facilities and any and all related renovations as made necessary by the proceeding work.
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving over 70,000 students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. We are the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. Our students are based out of 147 schools - 116 elementary including two special education sites, 26 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate.
The term of the prequalified supplier list will be for a period of three (3) years, commencing 1 February 2018 and terminating 31 January 2021.
