18-108 OCDSB - Septic System Replacement - North Gower/Marlborough Public School

This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to excavation contractors to submit bids for the septic system replacement at North Gower/Marlborough Public School, as further described in Section A of the  ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables).
 
Bid Submissions will only be considered from Excavation Contractors that provide acceptable references with institutional septic system installation projects similar in scope to the District’s current requirement. Residential septic system installation references will not be considered equivalent in scope.

A mandatory attendance site meeting will be held on Wednesday, 9 May 2018 beginning promptly at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time at North Gower/Marlborough Public School, 2403 Church Street, North Gower hosted by Daniel Fournier, Design & Construction Services.  An attendance sign-in sheet will be available at the site meeting to obtain attendees signatures.  Bids will not be accepted from bidders who do not attend.

Bidders shall include a bid security deposit in the amount of $5,000.  Such security may be in one of the following forms and made out in favour of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board:
.1  A bid bond.
.2  A certified cheque made payable to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and drawn on a Canadian financial institution.
.3  A bank draft from a financial institution in Canada.
