Description

This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for the relocation of portable classrooms on an as and when required basis, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (Specifications).

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. We are the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. Our students are based out of 143 schools - 113 elementary including two special education sites, 25 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate sites.

The District estimates that approximately 20 to 40 portables will require relocation over a four/five week period beginning the first week of July and ending the first week of August. Other portables may need to be relocated throughout the year depending on requirements. This estimate is not a guarantee of future volume of work and is provided for information purposes only.
