This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for graffiti, egg and other such damage removal services in an environmentally responsible fashion on an “as-and-when-requested” standing agreement basis, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. We are the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. Our students are based out of 143 schools - 113 elementary including two special education sites, 25 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate sites.

If a bidder obtains this document by means other than through MERX, the accuracy of the document and receipt of any addenda is the sole responsibility of the bidder. The District relies on the electronic MERX advertisement to provide public notice of this business opportunity and is not obligated to notify past or present suppliers in any other manner.
Bid Security
Bidders shall include a bid security deposit in the amount of $2,500. Such security may be in one of the following forms and made out in favour of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board:
.1 A bid bond.
.2 A certified cheque made payable to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and drawn on a Canadian financial institution.
.3 A bank draft from a financial institution in Canada.
It is the District’s intention to enter into the Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The contract shall commence upon award and shall terminate 31 August 2019. The District may extend this contract for a further two (2) one-year terms by mutual agreement with the Contractor two (2) months prior to the termination of the existing contract.
