This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for the provision of groundskeeping services on an “as-and-when-requested” standing agreement basis, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
Only those bidders that have registered and received a copy of this bid document through the District’s Supply Chain Management Division shall have their bids considered.
Bidders shall include a bid security deposit in the amount of $5,000. Such security may be in one of the following forms and made out in favour of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board:
.1 A bid bond.
.2 A certified cheque made payable to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and drawn on a Canadian financial institution.
.3 A bank draft from a financial institution in Canada.
It is the District’s intention to enter into the Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The contract shall commence upon award and shall terminate 31 March 2019. The District may extend this contract for a further two (2) one-year terms by mutual agreement with the Contractor two (2) months prior to the termination of the existing contract.
