Description

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for moving services as follows, and as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

Part I: One (1) legal entity for the daily moving operations at the Districts warehouse and other sites.
Part II: A roster of companies that can be called upon for additional moving services during our peak times.

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. We are the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. Our students are based out of 143 schools - 113 elementary including two special education sites, 25 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate sites.

Each proposal shall be delivered in two (2) packages as follows:
Package One
Shall contain:
(a)          ONLY the non-financial portion of proposal
(b)          one (1) hard copy, clearly marked ‘ORIGINAL’
(c)           three (3) hard copies marked ‘COPY 1’, ’COPY 2’, and ‘COPY 3’
(d)          other documents as specified in Appendix B – Submission Form Section 3. Mandatory Forms

Package Two
Shall contain:
(a)          ONLY the original financial portion (Appendix C – Pricing)
