This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Architectural Consulting Services for portable classroom relocations on an as and when required basis, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables).
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving students within the city of Ottawa boundaries. The OCDSB is the seventh largest school board by student population in the province of Ontario. The OCDSB is comprised of 143 schools - 113 elementary including two special education sites, 25 secondary, 5 secondary alternate sites and 365 portable classrooms. The District relocates approximately 25-30 portables per year to accommodate enrollment across the District.

The District relies on the electronic MERX advertisement to provide public notice of this business opportunity and is not obligated to notify past or present suppliers in any other manner.
It is the District’s intention to enter into the Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The contract shall commence 01 April 2018 and shall terminate 31 March 2020. The District may extend this contract for a further two (2) one-year terms by mutual agreement with the Consultant two (2) months prior to the termination of the existing contract.
