REPLACEMENT OF EXTERIOR CEMENTITIOUS PANELS

The Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport Authority (OMCIAA) is seeking to prequalify Panel Installation Contractors for an upcoming tender for the replacement of exterior cementitious panels on the Passenger Terminal Building at the Ottawa Macdonald- Cartier International Airport. Prequalified tenderers will be invited to submit tenders during the first quarter of 2018. This project will be executed in three phases over two to three years commencing in the Summer of 2018.

The project will include the removal and disposal of existing cementitious panels and the supply & installation of approximately 1,700 new cementitious panels as provided by Euro Panel.

This is the first stage in a two-stage competitive selection process whereby interested firms are invited to provide a Statement of Qualification that clearly demonstrates:

A full range of professional, technical and managerial skills as required to deliver a quality product within well-defined parameters of scope, quality, time and cost;
An exemplary track record of achievement in the delivery of comparable projects within a highly exposed operating environment;
Previous experience of Key Personnel conducting similar work;
Airfield construction experience (note: while the majority of work area will be considered landside, some work will take place on the active airside);
Methodology/Equipment employed to access elevated work areas.

In the second stage, a limited number of pre-qualified firms will be provided with a more detailed terms of reference and invited to submit a Tender.

Sealed submissions will be received at the address noted in the SofQ documents until no later than 14:00:00 hours (local time) on February 15, 2018.
