Millwright Services,
as and when required

The Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport Authority (OMCIAA) is seeking a Contractor of superior quality to provide Millwright Services as and when required at the Ottawa International Airport.

The work includes but is not necessarily limited to:

Perform preventative and operational maintenance;
Operate machine tools i.e. metal saws, grinders, sheet metal cutters, drills, etc. to fabricate parts required during overhaul/maintenance of machinery;
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic controls;
Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors and connect couplings and belts;
Inspect machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions;
Adjust machinery and replace defective parts;

The selection of a Millwright provider will take place in two steps. In the initial step, interested firms must provide a Statement of Qualifications (SofQ) that clearly demonstrates:

Key Personnel and experience of individuals proposed
Training
Company experience

From the SofQ submissions received, the OMCIAA will select a number of qualified tenderers who will then be provided a more detailed Terms of Reference and invited to submit tenders.

Sealed submissions will be received until no later than 14:00:00 hours (local time) on or before April 19, 2018.
