190509 - Establish and Operate a Third Party Airline Passenger Lounge

The Ottawa International Airport Authority is issuing this Request for Proposals for the operation of third party airline passenger lounge situated within the post-security Domestic/International area of the Passenger Terminal Building at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. 
 
The RFP is open to all parties who have significant prior experience owning and operating third party airline passenger lounges, ideally in one or more international airports or in broadly similar transportation facilities.  Specific eligibility requirements for Proponents are detailed in the RFP documents.
 
The Successful Proponent will have uncompromising operating standards, and must demonstrate that it has the necessary experience, organizational structure and financial capability to operate a Lounge in an airport environment.
 
The Authority is committed to obtaining a Third Party Lounge that offers the following:
 

• The highest quality customer service, provided in both official languages of Canada as well as additional languages wherever possible.

• An attractive, welcoming and distinctive fit-up of the Leased Premises which creatively conveys a sense of place and/or sense of brand.

• Innovative and appealing products and services, reflecting the current level of airport lounge offerings around the world.

• Operational excellence related to shipping and receiving, maintenance of Leased Premises, ability to adapt to irregular operations, etc.
