The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) invites firms to submit a Response for the following:
To submit information about standard service offerings and to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement for the opportunity to be registered as a Vendor which may be invited to participate in future closed RFPs and RFQs for the WCB's technical IT security services.
Scope of Services
The delivery of the Services shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the WCB's competitive procurement documents (future RFPs and RFQs).
The categories of services listed in the next section below are intended to broadly describe the WCB's foreseeable needs for IT security related goods and services. Vendors are not required to provide all of the technical security services listed. The WCB will only be evaluating a Vendor's capability to provide the goods or services when the WCB issues an RFP or RFQ with detailed specifications for such goods or services. If a Vendor is unable or unwilling to provide the goods or services at that time the Vendor can elect to not respond to the respective RFP or RFQ.
The WCB's IT Department wishes to outsource certain aspects of its technical security services using competitive procurement processes. Accordingly, the WCB may invite Vendors that have executed a Non-Disclosure Agreement to participate in future RFPs and RFQs on an "as needed and if required" basis for the following:
(a) Support Services: expert level technical support for the WCB's security environment, provided either remotely or onsite at WCB facilities;
(b) Consulting Services: expert level security consulting services which may include items such as vulnerability assessments, health checks, development of roadmaps, general advice and direction, educational seminars for WCB staff, enhanced problem resolution, administration, payment card industry (PCI) compliance, forensics, and other operational requirements;
(c) Software Maintenance & Licensing Services: security software maintenance and licensing services which may include items such as security software maintenance renewals, security software license tracking, and support for acquisition of additional security software licenses and/or products; and
(d) Managed Services: managed security services which may include items such as security monitoring, mobile device management, firewall management, log management, and intrusion detection & prevention.
Duration of Services
The WCB expects to procure the Services from Vendors who have executed the Non-Disclosure Agreement on an "as needed and if required" basis during approximately a two (2) year period, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective RFP(s) and RFQ(s) and subsequent written agreement(s) between the WCB and pre-qualified Vendor(s).
