223-WCB-23-017 - Gas Generator

The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) invites firms to submit a Quotation for the following: Supply and delivery of a 130 kilowatt natural gas fired standby generator to the WCB's head office at 333 Broadway.

Goods: Generac Industrial Power Model SG130, 9.0 L 130 kilowatt 347/600 volts output natural gas generator or approved equal.

Unit is to have weather tight factory enclosure as the unit will be roof mounted on a built up tar and gravel surface. Roof alterations to accommodate the Generator need to be kept to a minimum and proposal needs to speak to that. Unit needs to be readied for craning.

Details of OEM (original equipment manufacturers') warranty should be provided in a separate document.

Training is to be provided for operation of the products to four (4) WCB staff, onsite at the WCB's facilities located at 333 Broadway. It is expected training will not require more than a half (1/2) day. Please provide details of recommended training.

Services: Five (5) Year Parts and Labour Maintenance Agreement

Provide full details of the service level agreement and parts and labour that are included in annual fees. If the Vendor has a standard form service contract please include a sample copy with Proposal.

A Contractor that is a corporation or partnership will, prior to providing the Services, provide written proof that it is in good legal standing to carry on business in Manitoba and shall remain so for the duration of the Services.

Even if the Contractor is not required pursuant to The Workers Compensation Act to have and maintain workers compensation coverage in Manitoba, the WCB shall require the Contractor to purchase and maintain workers compensation coverage for its workers who will be providing the Services in Manitoba.
