The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) invites firms to submit a Response for the following: To submit information about standard service offerings and to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement for the opportunity to be registered as a Vendor which may be invited to participate in a future closed RFP for adjudication and payment services for the WCB's group benefit plan which includes but is not limited to (1) Insured Benefits [Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Plan, Travel Health] and (2) Administration Services Only [Extended Health including Vision, Dental Care, Health Spending Account, Wellness Spending Account, Short Term Absence management services for management of sick leave, and seamless transition to Long Term Disability].
Scope of Services
The delivery of the Services shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the WCB's competitive procurement documents (future RFP).
The WCB's Human Resources Department wishes to obtain an external provider to provide insured benefits, adjudication and payment services for the WCB's group insurance benefit plan which includes, but is not limited to, the following benefits:
A. Insured Benefits:
(a) Long Term Disability (LTD);
(b) Employee Assistance Plan (EAP); and
(c) Travel Health.
B. Administration Services Only:
(a) Extended Health, including Vision;
(b) Dental Care;
(c) Health Spending Account (HSA);
(d) Wellness Spending Account (WSA); and
(e) Short Term Absence management services for management of sick leave and seamless transition to LTD.
The WCB expects to procure the Services from Vendors who have executed the Non-Disclosure Agreement on an "as needed and if required" basis during approximately a five (5) year period, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective RFP and subsequent written agreement between the WCB and pre-qualified Vendor(s).
