P055006 - Lake Manitoba First Nation Child and Family Services Prevention Center Design

Lake Manitoba First Nation proposes the design and construction of a new FNCFS Prevention building for various prevention programs and activities aimed at supporting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness of First Nations children, youth, young adults, and families. Currently, Lake Manitoba First Nation challenges include a critical lack of prevention programming infrastructure to properly execute the implementation and delivery of culturally and age appropriate FNCFS prevention programming and services. Based on needs and feasibility studies, the new center will be approximately 3.020 m2 in order to house the prevention programs such as traditional teachings, parenting workshops for families or to provide family supervised visitations in a supportive setting.
