Gypsumville/St. Martin Area Drainage

Scope of Work:
· Site 1 - 4.5 mile ditch cleanout on Karpaty Drain to a depth not exceeding 6 inches following the existing drain profile. This will also include a Culvert installation at Kolomaya Rd. (RM to supply culvert)
· Site 2 - .5 mile ditch cleanout on Folka Drain to a depth not exceeding 6 inches following the existing drain profile
· Site 3- .5 mile ditch cleanout on Lauk Drain to a depth not exceeding 6 inches following the existing drain profile
· Site 4 - 2 mile (approximately) ditch cleanout on Byng Drain to a depth not exceeding 6 inches following the existing drain profile.
· The ditch must maintain 3:1 or greater side slopes where possible to reduce erosion and increase stability of the drain.
· Waste material to be placed on backslope of ditch and properly leveled.
· All works shall be completed in accordance with the terms and conditions as described in the Water Rights Licenses.
· Completion Date: December 31, 2024.
Contractor Agreement:
· Contractor to supply all required equipment, tools, material and labour to perform the work.
· Contractor must not assign or subcontract any or all the work without RM of Grahamdale consent.
· Successful bidder to be Prime Contractor for this Project.
· Please provide 3 separate bids.
o For the first bid, please quote the entire project totaling 7.5 miles of ditch cleanout (Sites 1-4).
o For the second bid, please quote Sites 1, 2, and 3 only (5.5 mile ditch cleanout plus one culvert installation).
o For the third bid, please quote Site 4 only (2 mile ditch cleanout).
Due to budget constraints, Site 4 may need to be tabled to next year's budget.
Priority will be given to contractors who can supply a laser level and thimble, to ensure greater accuracy.
Sealed tender marked “Gypsumville/St.Martin Area Drainage – RFP” must be delivered in person to the RM of Grahamdale Office, 23 Government Rd., or received by email to rm606@grahamdale.ca by 12:00 NOON on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
