B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 The Consulting Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will conduct a
reference site investigation tour:
(a) April 9, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Reference site of existing conditions. Baltimore Flood Station
located at 246 Churchill Drive;
(b) April 11, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Reference site of completed work. Roland Flood Station located at
16 Archibald Street;
(c) Proponents are required to bring their own PPE (safety vest, boots, hard hat, safety glasses
and gloves) to the Site Investigation. Proponents without appropriate PPE will not be allowed
access inside the Station.
B3.1.1 Proponents are requested to register for the site investigation by contacting
the Consulting Contract Administrator identified in D2.
B3.2 Although attendance at the Site Investigations is not mandatory, the City strongly
suggests that Proponents attend.
B3.3 The Proponent shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation
received at the site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Proponent’s
direct observation, or is provided by the Consulting Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.4 The Proponent is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done
and all conditions that might affect their Proposal or their performance of the Work, and shall
assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or
could have been determined through such inspection.
B3.5 Access to lower level is not required. Access will be permitted by request with a valid
confined space training certification.
