D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a)   Pulvimixing and cement stabilization of gravel surface back lanes (See APPENDIX A for maps of 
locations noted below).
(i)      Location 1   Logan Ave from Keewatin St to Alexander Ave - South Side of Logan Ave
(ii)      Location 2  Logan Ave from Dee St to Ada St - South Side of Logan Ave
(iii)       Location 3  Alexander Ave from Ada St to Hoban St - South Side of Alexander Ave
(iv)      Location 4  Hoban St from Pacific Ave W to Alexander Ave - West Side of Hoban St
(v)      Location 5  Alexander Ave from Elkhorn St (RRX) to Keewatin St - South side of  Alexander Ave
(vi)      Location 6  Juba St from Pacific Ave W to Alexander Ave - West Side of Juba St
(vii)       Location 7  Willowbank St from Pacific Ave W to Alexander Ave - West Side of Willowbank Ave
(viii)       Location 8  Pacific Ave W from Juba St to RRX - South Side of Pacific Ave W
(ix)      Location 9  William Ave from Tentler St to Oddy St - South Side of William Ave
(x)      Location 10  Lismore Ave from King Edward St to Oddy St - South Side of Lismore Ave
(xi)      Location 11  Nicollet Ave from Darwin St to Nicollet Ave - North Side of Nicollet Ave

D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Provide a mix design for each type of soil;
(b)   Submit and attain underground clearances;
(c)    Traffic control;
(d)   Garbage and recycling collection
(e)   Design and grade profile of gravel surface to achieve proper drainage at designed low points 
and end points;
(i)     The design grade profile shall be presented on detail drawings
(f)    Pulverise the top three hundred (300)mm of the gravel surface;
(g)   Apply blended cement to pulverized gravel surface;
(h)   Mix cement, soil and water and compact to a dense surface.
