This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Central Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals to provide roof replacement services as outlined in the contract documents (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) for multiple buildings located at the Milner Ridge Correctional Centre as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

CPPD requires the services of a roofing contractor to provide metal roof replacements for seven buildings located at the Milner Ridge Correctional Centre. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the Work described in this RFT and the specifications and drawings (Appendix 14). Work site location will be fully occupied during construction.

A mandatory site visit has been scheduled as follows:

Location: Milner Ridge Correctional Centre, Highway 214, Beausejour, MB

Date: February 8, 2022 10:00 AM local time

Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project coordinator at kim.griffin@gov.mb.ca. Confirmation will be sent to confirm attendance. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting. Deadline for registration is the end of the business day February 7, 2022.

Deadline for questions is February 15, 2022. All questions are to be submitted to cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca.

Submission deadline is February 24, 2022 at 2:00:00 PM local time. Proposals must be submitted through MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System. No other form of submission will be accepted.
