The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Central Services, Asset Management, seeks to select a qualified Contractor to provide General Contracting and Construction Services (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) for Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) Interior Renovations – Tenant Safety/Security Upgrades at 111 Rorie Street, Winnipeg Manitoba.
 
The purpose of this project is to increase security of the west side building entry way and allow for a safer and more streamlined area from which to direct visitors. The project includes the relocation of the existing storefront glazing vestibule, the installation of an information desk, the installation of a triage desk, and modifications/introduction of secure access controls throughout the area of work. The work required for this project includes moderate demolition and salvage, modifications to existing store front glazing vestibule, building and finishing of walls and glazed openings, millwork, floor and wall finishes, doors and hardware and moderate mechanical and electrical work to suit new floor plan.
