Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Central Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, Environment Climate and Parks (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Accessibility, Fire/Life Safety, and Code Compliance Upgrades at Captain Kennedy House as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Services”).

CPPD requires the services of a Consultant to act as the Prime Consultant for Architectural/Engineering assessment and design, construction oversight consulting services related to Accessibility, Fire/Life Safety, and Code Compliance Upgrades at Captain Kennedy House. This is a heritage building in River Road Provincial Heritage Park that is currently closed to the public. These upgrades are intended to bring the building into compliance with applicable codes and regulations in order to allow public access back into the building. Work site location will not be occupied during construction.

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:

Proponents are to pre-register for the site visit and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend up to 24 hours in advance of the site visit to Ryan Wakshinski via email at ryan.wakshinski@gov.mb.ca.
Deadlines for questions is September 1, 2022 at 4PM local time. Questions are to be submitted via email to nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca.
Proposal submission deadline is September 8, 2022 at 2:00:00 PM local time. Proposals must be submitted through MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System. No other form of Proposal submission will be accepted.
