Manitoba Sustainable Development requires the pickup of household waste and recyclables from Spruce Woods Provincial Park on a weekly basis between July 1st and August 31st, and then “as and when required” between September 1st and June 30th.
The garbage/recyclables will be collected from specific sites in the campground, day use areas and maintenance area within Spruce Woods Provincial Park. Manitoba is also seeking, as an option, for the Service Provider to supply 27 bins on a monthly rental to be used for waste and recycling. The garbage/recycling will be hauled to an approved site licensed for the disposal of household and waste garbage and recyclables. The Service Provider must be able to provide loader equipment to fit existing containers for pick up and loading.
The Agreement is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2019 and shall continue until June 30, 2021. The agreement shall be for a fixed period of two (2) years, with the possibility of two (2) further one-year extensions.
