Cleaning Services - 65 Memorial Drive

Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) is requesting quotations from qualified and experienced Proponents to provide facilities cleaning services for over 100,000 square feet at our North Sydney NS Administration Building located at 65 Memorial Drive. This RFQ covers the provision of all supplies, materials, equipment and labour to provide a clean and safe environment for MAI employees and clients.

There will be a mandatory site visit scheduled for November 22, 2017 at 9:00am Atlantic Time to give interested proponents an opportunity to tour the facility with a representative of Facilities Management and answer any questions related to the requirement.

The closing for receipt of quotations will be 2:00PM Atlantic Time, December 8, 2017.

Quotations must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX Electronic Bid System; website address www.merx.com

This will be the only method of responses accepted for consideration. Quotations will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication.
Quotations must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Quotations will not be considered.

A mandatory site visit is scheduled for November 22, 2017 starting at 9:00am sharp at the entrance to 65 Memorial Drive. Interested respondents will be met at the entrance to the building at 65 Memorial Drive and will be given an opportunity to view the areas relevant to the RFQ. All potential respondents must be represented at the mandatory site visit. Representatives must register their attendance and clearly indicate the name of the respondent that they are representing. Quotations will not be accepted from any respondent that is not recorded on the registry. Representatives must arrive on time and must be in attendance for the duration of the site visit. Anyone arriving more than five (5) minutes late will not be permitted to register. Respondents are responsible for ensuring that their representatives have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for use while on site. PPE includes hard hats, safety shoes/boots and high visibility vests.
