MAI has a requirement for additional procurement support services to provide substantive expertise and support in the planning, development, research, analysis and sourcing of goods and services via a public tendering procurement process. MAI’s procurement activities are subject to a governance framework that includes compliance with federal government legislation and trade treaties, including the Financial Administration Act, the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Canadian-European Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), as well as related Treasury Board of Canada guidelines.
