PAB Gulfspan Dock Bollard

Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the PAB Gulfspan Dock Bollard.

The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. Specifically the Gulfspan Dock.

The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the core drilling, fabrication, and installation of two (2) new mooring bollards on existing foundations. Removal of existing winches and supply, and installation of two (2) new winches currently attached to the existing moorex system. Installation to include all electrical requirements to ensure operational units.

A Site meeting will be held on December 11th, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., Newfoundland Time, at PAB Gulfspan Dock. Bidders are to meet at security to receive MAI security passes. Bidders not already orientated should arrive 15 minutes before hand.

The closing for receipt of tenders will be 1400 hours Atlantic Time, December 20th, 2018.

Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.

This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.

Bollard du quai Gulspan de Port aux Basques

Marine Atlantique S.C.C. est à la recherche d’offres de service auprès de sociétés qualifiées pour des travaux sur un bollard du quai Gulspan de Port aux Basques.

Le projet se tiendra au terminal de Marine Atlantique situé à Port aux Basques, Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador. Spécifiquement pour le quai Gulfspan.

Les travaux comprennent, sans y être limités, les éléments suivants : carottage, fabrication et installation de deux (2) nouveaux bollards sur les fondations actuelles. Enlèvement des treuils et des accessoires et installation de deux (2) nouveaux treuils actuellement raccordés au système Moorex. L'installation doit inclure toutes les exigences électriques pour l’alimentation des unités.

Une visite du site aura lieu le 11 décembre 2018 à 13h00, heure de l’Atlantique au quai Gulspan de Port aux Basques. Les soumissionnaires doivent se présenter à la sécurité pour recevoir les laissez-passer de sécurité de Marine Atlantique. Les soumissionnaires n’ayant pas suivi une orientation doivent arriver 15 minutes à l’avance.

La date de clôture pour la réception des propositions est le 20 décembre 2018 à 1400 heures, heure de l’Atlantique.

Les propositions doivent être soumises par voie électronique en utilisant l’Envoi de soumission électronique (EBS) de MERX.

Il s’agit de la seule méthode de réponse acceptée à des fins de considération. Les propositions ne seront pas considérées si elles sont soumises par télécopieur, courriel ou autres formes ouvertes de communication. Les propositions doivent être reçues au plus tard à la date et à l’heure de clôture. Les propositions reçues en retard ne seront pas considérées.

.1 A complete tender is comprised of the following:
a) Section 00 41 13 – Tender Form and Section 00 42 00 –
Supplementary Tender Information in their entirety, with all
pages and spaces for entry of information by Tenderers filled
in as instructed.
b) Acknowledgement of Addenda received by the Tenderer during the
Tendering period.
c) An initial deposit (refer to Clause 6 herein).
d) A copy of Tenderer's current and valid Certificate of
Recognition (COR) Program, Letter of Good Standing, issued by
Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association.
e) A copy of valid Clearance Letter, issued by Workplace Health,
Safety and Compensation Commission of Newfoundland and
Labrador.
