PAB Bridge Repairs

Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the PAB Bridge Repairs project.

The project is located on both the Gulfspan and Alternate docks at the Port aux Basques Marine Atlantic Inc. facility in Newfoundland.

The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, removal and offsite disposal of concrete; surface preparation of existing reinforcing steel and concrete, the repair of concrete, and railing upgrades. The work also includes the cleaning of marine growth to aid in underwater inspection.

A site visit will be held on September 25, 2018 at 9:00 am Newfoundland Time at the Port aux Basques Terminal Site.

The closing for receipt of tenders will be 2:00pm Atlantic Time, October 4, 2018.

Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.

This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.

Réparation d’un pont à Port aux Basques

Marine Atlantique S.C.C. est à la recherche d’offres de service auprès de sociétés qualifiées pour réaliser un projet de réparation d’un pont à Port aux Basques.

Le projet sera réalisé à la fois sur le quai Gulfspan et le quai secondaire des installations de Marine Atlantique S.C.C. à Port aux Basques, Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.

Les travaux comprennent, sans y être limités, les éléments suivants : enlèvement et élimination à l’extérieur du site du béton; préparation des surfaces existantes, qu’il s’agisse de l’armature et du béton; réparation du béton; et, mise à niveau du parapet. Les travaux comprennent aussi le nettoyage de la croissance d’organismes marins afin de faciliter les inspections sous-marines.

Une visite du site aura lieu le 25 septembre 2018 à 09:00, heure de Terre-Neuve au site de Port aux Basques à T.-N.-L.

La date de clôture pour la réception des propositions est le 4 octobre 2018 à 14:00, heure de l’Atlantique.

Les propositions doivent être soumises par voie électronique en utilisant l’Envoi de soumission électronique (EBS) de MERX.

Il s’agit de la seule méthode de réponse acceptée à des fins de considération. Les propositions ne seront pas considérées si elles sont soumises par télécopieur, courriel ou autres formes ouvertes de communication. Les propositions doivent être reçues au plus tard à la date et à l’heure de clôture. Les propositions reçues en retard ne seront pas considérées.

Tender Submission:
.1 A complete tender is comprised of the following:
a) Section 00 41 13 – Tender Form and Section 00 42 00 –
Supplementary Tender Information in their entirety, with all
pages and spaces for entry of information by Tenderers filled
in as instructed.
b) Acknowledgement of Addenda received by the Tenderer during the
Tendering period.
C) An initial deposit (refer to Clause 6 herein).
d) A copy of Tenderer's current and valid Certificate of
Recognition (COR) Program, Letter of Good Standing, issued by
Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association.
e) A copy of valid Clearance Letter, issued by Workplace Health,
Safety and Compensation Commission of Newfoundland and
Labrador.
