North Sydney BIDA Wayfinding
Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the North Sydney BIDA Wayfinding Project.
The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in North Sydney, Nova Scotia.
The Work includes all labour, equipment and materials necessary to execute the work as per the drawings and in accordance with the specification, this includes but not limited to:
• Excavation of existing asphalt and concrete.
• Excavation of existing soil to the lines and grade necessary to reinstate the new work.
• Collect stone and protect all excavated topsoil and boulders for reuse within areas of site to be landscaped.
• Supply and install all plants and trees as defined in the planning plan on drawings No. 3 and No. 5.
• Supply and install three (3) Maglin MLB-720B-W benches.
• Constructed all required reinforced concrete as per drawings and specification.
• Install all Owner supplied signs.
• Relocate interpretative panels.
• Electrical installation as shown on drawings and in accordance with the drawing note.
• All other works necessary for a complete product as per the plans and specification.
Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
A site visit will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 10:00AM Atlantic time at the site in North Sydney, NS.
The closing for receipt of tenders will be 1400 hours Atlantic Time, September 14, 2017.
Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.
This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.
