ARG Bridge Repairs

Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the ARG Bridge Repairs project.

The project is located at the Argentia, Marine Atlantic Inc. facility in Newfoundland.

The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to the removal and offsite disposal of concrete; surface preparation of existing reinforcing steel and concrete; supply and installation of concrete repair, the lubrication of the Transfer Bridge girder hinges and all necessary environmental protection.

A site visit will be held on September 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm Newfoundland time at the Argentia, NL site.

The closing for receipt of tenders will be 1400 hours Newfoundland time, October 4, 2018.

Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.

This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.

Réparation de pont à ARG

Marine Atlantique S.C.C. est à la recherche d’offres de service auprès de sociétés qualifiées pour le projet de réparation de pont à Argentia.

Le projet se tiendra aux installations de Marine Atlantique S.C.C. situées à Argentia à Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.

Les travaux comprennent, sans y être limités, les éléments suivants : l’enlèvement et l’élimination hors site de béton; la préparation de la surface de l'acier d'armature et du béton actuels; la fourniture et l'installation pour la réparation du béton, la lubrification des charnières à poutre du pont de transbordement et toute la protection environnementale nécessaire.

Une visite du site aura lieu le 25 septembre 2018 à 13h00, heure de Terre-Neuve sur le site d’Argentia à T.-N.-L.

La date de clôture pour la réception des propositions est le 4 octobre 2018 à 1400 heures, heure de Terre-Neuve.

Les propositions doivent être soumises par voie électronique en utilisant l’Envoi de soumission électronique (EBS) de MERX.

Il s’agit de la seule méthode de réponse acceptée à des fins de considération. Les propositions ne seront pas considérées si elles sont soumises par télécopieur, courriel ou autres formes ouvertes de communication. Les propositions doivent être reçues au plus tard à la date et à l’heure de clôture. Les propositions reçues en retard ne seront pas considérées.

Tender Submission:
.1 A complete tender is comprised of the following:
a) Section 00 41 13 – Tender Form and Section 00 42 00 –
Supplementary Tender Information in their entirety, with all
pages and spaces for entry of information by Tenderers filled
in as instructed.
b) Acknowledgement of Addenda received by the Tenderer during the
Tendering period.
C) An initial deposit (refer to Clause 6 herein).
d) A copy of Tenderer's current and valid Certificate of
Recognition (COR) Program, Letter of Good Standing, issued by
Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association.
e) A copy of valid Clearance Letter, issued by Workplace Health,
Safety and Compensation Commission of Newfoundland and
Labrador.
