Description

The Ontario government is launching a Lab Services Sector Optimization Study, as the condition of the laboratory facilities within the GREP portfolio creates an opportunity to re-examine the real estate needs. IO is seeking the services of a multi-disciplinary consulting team in support of this initiative. The objectives of the initiative are to:

1. Improve and modernize laboratory facility conditions;

2. Enhance the efficiency of the lab portfolio footprint and operations;

3. Generate synergies and consolidation opportunities between Ministries and Agencies who utilize lab assets.

The Consultant will be tasked with analyzing the Laboratory Services Sector within GREP, engaging a diversity of Ministries and Agencies that operate labs, and will provide options and recommendations to MGCS, IO and the Ministry Working Group comprised of lab operating Ministries regarding potential
optimization opportunities.
