The IESO’s Corporate Relations team manages internal and external communications for the organization, communicating to broader electricity industry stakeholders, including electricity suppliers, large electricity consumers, electricity transmitters and distributors, community leaders, the engaged public, and IESO employees.
In order deliver on key objectives, the team intends to use videos as a tool to: (a) promote an understanding of industry issues and IESO initiatives to external stakeholders; and (b) encourage collaboration and engagement amongst IESO employees.
Videos will support a variety of platforms, including IESO’s external websites and internal intranet; digital advertising (e.g. web banners) and social media. In addition to educating employees and engaging stakeholders, videos will serve to generate web traffic; promote awareness and participation in IESO programs; and engage social media communities to help grow relationships online.
