Description

The IESO is seeking technical consulting services and subject matter expertise related to natural gas transportation, distribution, storage and balancing services that are necessary for the operation of natural gas-fired facilities, referred to herein as “GDM Services”.

The IESO has contracted with certain natural gas-fired generation facilities that contain a gas management plan (GMP). The GMP outlines the reimbursement mechanism with the electricity provider (“Supplier”) for the GDM Services needed to operate the facility in compliance with the respective natural gas-fired generation contract (the “Contract”), along with the methodology of monitoring the Supplier’s compliance.
