Description

This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Independent Electricity System
Operator (the “IESO”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of: (a) a
customized dispatch scheduling and optimization solution that will modernize the IESO’s
electricity market and enhance the security constrained economic dispatch and unit
commitment algorithms it will use in the Market Renewal Program for day-ahead market, intraday
scheduling, and real-time market scheduling and pricing (the “DSO Solution”); and (b) the
detailed design, implementation, application development and maintenance services in respect
thereof.
