Description

The Town of Essex offers a variety of services to its residents, including Animal Control Services. Animal Control Services are performed under contract and include prevention of dogs running at large both in response to complaints and as a result of proactive patrols, removal of dead animals from the travelled portion of Town roadways after normal working hours, investigating and preparing paperwork associated with dangerous dog attacks, delivering stray dogs to the pound, taking sick or injured animals to a veterinarian clinic, following-up on dog registration, etc.
