RFP2022-004521 Request for Proposals for Ontario Health, COVID-19 Self-Collection Portal
This Request for Proposal (this "RFP") is issued by Ontario Health as an invitation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of a COVID-19 Self-Collection patient portal solution that can operate on a province-wide scale (the “Services”) , as further described in Part 2 – the Services. Subject to the successful implementation, testing and functioning, as determined by Ontario Health in its sole discretion, this solution may be declared an information technology (IT) product standard by Ontario Health for the collection management solution.
The goal of this RFP is to procure a solution and services that will support the rapid configuration and testing of a technology platform designed to support the end-to-end workflow of self-collected COVID-19 PCR tests for patients at home and which can be easily scaled across the province of Ontario as needed. Must operate in Canada for data registry and ensure the personal data processed and stored is protected.
Ontario Health is an agency created by the Government of Ontario with a mandate to connect and coordinate the Province of Ontario’s health care system to help ensure that Ontarians receive the best possible care. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Ontario Health has been tasked with innovating current COVID-19 testing processes in Ontario in order to relieve pressures on the health care system while systematically reducing the risks of congregate testing for patients across the province.
This RFP aligns with Ontario Health’s Quadruple Aim of improving population health outcomes, improving patient experience, improving health care provider experience, and achieving better value.
