This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is an invitation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) Implementation Project Manager as further described in Part 2 - The Deliverables (the “Deliverables"). This RFP is issued by eHealth Ontario.
The Project Management Resource will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of the Corporate Systems Upgrade Project (the “Project’). The goal of the Project is to replace eHealth’s existing collection of 14 disparate systems and 11 manual processes with a SaaS Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) solution.
Co-ordinate and manage completion of the Business Requirements Definition (BRD) documentation for a SaaS ERP solution
Create and manage the request for proposal (RFP) to select the successful ERP solution and the associated implementation services (i.e. integration, deployment, training, configuration etc.)
Provide advice and consultation on best practices regarding implementation methodologies, tools, and governance structures related to the Project
Develop and review the Project charter and plan based on direction from management to determine time frame, budget, and procedures for accomplishing the Project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of the Project.
Establish work plans and staffing for each project phase and otherwise direct and co-ordinate activities of the Project to ensure it progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Manage solution delivery with third party implementation services provider and deliverables from all eHealth functional teams ensuring they meet the defined timeline.
Manage complex business issues arising from the implementation of new processes or functions, escalating to management as needed
Perform risk identification, response planning and management communication to minimize impact and probability of risks
Manage the gating process including the completion and submission of all gating and checkpoint artifacts.
Prepare effective project communications to numerous stakeholders utilizing various methods
Assist with change management as required.
