Defence Construction Canada – Request for Proposals (RFP) for Inspection, Testing and Minor Repair (ITM) Services of various systems, primarily Mechanical and Electrical Systems:
Project No ES131762, DCTF Galiano, Colwood, Victoria, British Columbia
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Proposals from firms to establish a Service Contract to provide regular/frequent inspection of HVAC, plumbing systems, gas detection systems, propane components, and general facilities infrastructure maintenance, specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements at DCTF Galiano, Colwood, Victoria, British Columbia.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFP. The objective of this RFP is to select the proponent with the highest total score.
The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the RFP Documents.
The ITM service contract will be for a period from July 2, 2024, through March 31, 2027. If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended for up to two (2) additional three (3) year periods. Refer to the RFP document for additional information.
A site visit has been arranged for this opportunity, details of the site visit are available at Item 1.7 Site Visit, of the RFP.
The total estimated value of this opportunity (including Prime Cost Allowances for Additional Work Requests) is in the order of $1,560,000 for the initial period of service and the two additional option periods.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Proposals through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System.
This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA).
