DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – HQ0506DC_73648 – Repurpose Building 393 – Trenton, Ontario
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to renovate Building 393 at 8 Wing Trenton. Work includes new construction of office spaces, washrooms, kitchen, storage rooms, maintenance hangar, support shops, building support spaces, fire protection system including foam generation. Renovations include, but are not limited to deconstruction and new construction of the following building systems: HVAC, plumbing, fire protection (wet pipe sprinkler and foam), electrical: power lighting, aircraft grounding, lightning protection, emergency power, communications, structural and non-structural partition walls, fabric hangar door, slab on grade floor, exterior wall modifications, and underground utilities connections.
Tenderers are advised that Defence Construction Canada will not be responding to bidder questions between December 18, 2020 and January 4, 2021.
This project contains security requirements.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, with approved Document safeguarding at the level of SECRET, issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $11,900,000.00
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 350 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 45 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in Chapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA).
