DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – HQ1801AA_74398 – Airfield Pavement Rehabilitation - Runway 06/24 – Trenton, Ontario
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to rehabilitate Runway 06/24 and Taxiway Papa at CFB Trenton. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Removal and replacement of existing concrete joint sealant; partial depth patch repairs on existing concrete pavements; routing and sealing of cracks in existing concrete pavements; cold milling (profiling) of existing asphalt pavements; placement and compaction of asphalt millings on existing roads and parking lots on-site; partial depth crack repairs on existing asphalt pavements; construction of new hot-mix asphalt (HMA) pavements; sawing and sealing of joints in new asphalt pavements (overtop existing concrete pavements); coordination and layout of new paint markings; and regrading, topsoiling, and hydroseeding of existing grassed areas.
This project contains security requirements.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than November 26, 2021 and must be completed no later than 42 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
