All Proponents can visit the site and building to become familiar with all existing conditions which may affect the Work by sending a request to participate in a tour by sending an email to ddp.rfp@collegeboreal.ca. Tours will be given October 19, 2021 between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.

A site visit is not mandatory to submit a price in response to this tender. During this pandemic, college Boréal is limiting the building access as much as possible. We have included, pictures, individual heat pumps details and a site plan that notes each heat pump locations. If the provided information is not sufficient, a proponent can attend a site visit at the posted date and time. Only one representative per company can enter the site to perform the tour. All shall enter the site, by the main North, 1st level doors. Any persons wanting to enter or work in our building must have proof they have received their two Covid vaccines. In order to enter the building, the persons can’t show any Covid or Flu-like symptoms. A person cannot enter the building if he or she was out of the country in the last 14 days. Upon your arrival, the person will have to fill in a questionnaire. While on site, a facial mask covering the mouth and nose will be worn at all times

Additional Bidding Instructions

To be eligible for consideration, the Proponent’s proposal must be uploaded by the closing date and time stated in this document (the “Closing Time”). All responses must be submitted using the Merx Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”). Proponents are urged to contact Merx customer support (www.merx.ca), 1-800-964-6379 in advance of submitting a response to ensure they are registered with Merx and are familiar with the EBS requirements and procedures.

The Proponent’s response must be accepted by the MERX Electronic Bid Submission no later than the date and time noted above as Closing Time. Proposals submitted later than the official closing time will be rejected by the MERX EBS and will not be accepted by the college. No submission will be accepted after the submission deadline. Logging onto the MERX site prior to closing is not recognized as submitting the bid prior to the close time. Submission download must start prior to the closing time.
