Description

The purpose of this RFPI is to solicit information and general feedback from Proponents who have knowledge and experience in providing goods and/or services so that CNL may assess the viability of the following Project: “CNL Chalk River Laboratories – Carbon Neutral Strategy”.

CNL is aligned with the Government of Canada and their Greening Government Strategy and is proactively developing a carbon neutral portfolio strategy to create a pathway to a carbon neutral S&T campus, in the pursuit of a truly sustainable S&T laboratory for the future.

As described in the Government of Canada’s “Greening Government Strategy”, the approach should follow a 3 step process:

Optimize real property holdings to meet future program needs;
Optimize the management and energy efficiency of buildings retained;
Fuel switch to low carbon sources of energy.

Order of Magnitude Pricing:
We are trying to determine the economics of the Project and seek a rough order of magnitude price for the goods/services associated with the Project. Given the limited information provided by CNL we recognize that it will be difficult for you to be precise and seek only ROM pricing. You should feel free to explain any factors that might increase or decrease the cost and help us make a better decision.
