CNL is planning to issue a Master Services Agreement for Laboratory and Building Refurbishment
work. CNL plans to award this work through a Multiple Award Task Order Contracting ("MATOC")
process. The RFP shall select a small pool of contractors, likely consisting of between two & four
contractors.
The objective of this RFP is to establish a Master Services Agreement (MSA) for a two (2) year
term, with three (3) additional one (1) year options to renew. The intent of a MSA is to provide
CNL with the flexibility to draw upon these Services on an as-required basis through the issuance
of Task Orders, at CNL’s discretion.
As needs arise, for the work described below, task orders may be issued to one or more of the
contractors that have been selected in through the RFP process
CNL requires a Contractor to perform construction, demolition activities, upgrades, removal of
potential hazardous materials and other fieldwork activities, in accordance with Technical Scope
of Work, CRL-00104-TSW-001. The Contractor will be expected to provide all professional
services, labour, supervision, materials, tooling, operators, and Equipment required by each Task
Order. Organizations who have the necessary qualifications and who can satisfy the expressed
mandatory requirements are hereby invited to participate as a “Proponent” and submit their
best proposal to Canadian Nuclear Laboratories Ltd. (“CNL”) in accordance with Statement of
Work (“SOW”) as well as all terms, conditions and additional details set forth in response to this
Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) for the provision of the specified work.
